Public liability insurance

We carry comprehensive public liability cover for the unit and our on-site activity. Certificate available on request before signing.

Electricity is on us

The unit's running cost is already covered by our share of the model — no separate electricity charge, no metering admin, no line item on your service charge.

No long lock-in

Initial 12-month term with a 90-day performance window (below), then rolling on 60 days' notice — we'd rather earn the renewal than enforce a contract.

Free removal if it isn't working

If footfall doesn't match the model in the first 90 days, we'll remove the unit at our cost and restore the corner — no exit fees, no awkward conversation.

Users can request items by QR code on every fridge, and we adjust the range based on what people actually buy. Allergens are labelled; chilled-only at all times.

What if it breaks at 2am?
Every unit is remote-monitored 24/7. We see fault telemetry before your users do, and we dispatch a technician same-day for anything we can't fix remotely. Your team is never the first line of response.
What if a resident complains about a charge?
Customers contact us directly via the QR code on every fridge — sidobox.uk/refund handles refund requests, and our published response time is < 24 hours. Your property team never deals with billing disputes.
Can I see one in person before signing?
Yes. As we roll out our first UK sites, we're happy to arrange a site visit to one of our pilot installs or bring a demo unit to your building. WhatsApp or use the form below.
What happens at the end of the term?
Initial 12-month term (with a 90-day performance window — if footfall doesn't match the model in the first 90 days we remove the unit at our cost), then rolling on 60 days' notice. At the end, we come and remove the unit at our cost, take any cabling and signage with us, and leave the corner as we found it.
Who handles food safety and licensing?
We do — Sidobox is registered as a food business with the relevant local authority, carry the required allergen labelling and rotation records, and you don't need to apply for anything as host.
What if my building isn't big enough?
Smaller sites can still work, especially if footfall is concentrated (a busy lobby, a single-floor co-working space, a boutique gym). We'll be honest with you on the 20-minute call — if it won't work, we'll say so.
